The Bioneers youth network represents the many faces of youth culture in North America and beyond. Through activism, art, education, media, and politics, young people are making their concerns known and taking a stand for health, restoration and justice. More on the 2007 Youth Program at the Bioneers Conference!
IN 2000, A GROUP OF COMMITTED YOUNG PEOPLE JOINED TREE-SITTER ACTIVIST Julia Butterfly-Hill on the grass lawn at Bioneers. This group came to create the first greening initiative for the Bioneers Conference and made a commitment to bring more young people to the conference to experience the intersections of environmental and
social change. From that, the Bioneers Youth Scholarship program was born. Youth have continued to influence how Bioneers as an organization and a national conference can represent the modern youth culture.
