Bioneer since 2008
My first experience with Bioneers was interviewing for the Dreaming New Mexico project. I took a year off from work after my second child came into this world. With all the new joys motherhood brings I was acutely aware of the state of the environment and I felt a personal responsibility to do what ever I could to raise awareness about the issues people and planet are facing. I felt my calling to do whatever I could to bring about positive change. Shortly after I started working for Bioneers, I attended my first conference. Needless to say, I was deeply affected by all that I had experienced. The hope, solutions and community that Bioneers offers pulled me deeper into a place where like minded individuals have the opportunity to work together to solve our biggest issues. The inspiration went far beyond me to affect my entire family who are now studying, practicing and working towards sustainable solutions. Bioneers awakened my inner activist and changed my life in so many ways. I am filled with gratitude to be part of an organization whose mission is deeply aligned with the needs of all people and planet.
