Since 2002, we have been bringing the Bioneers Conference experience to locations across the country and around the world. By hosting local Beaming Bioneers gatherings, you can bring the accumulated wisdom, spirit, knowledge and humor of the Bioneers Conference to your own organization, neighborhood or university.
Every year, we hear from our partners about how participating in the Beaming Bioneers Program has seeded much-needed conversations around ecological literacy and prompted decisive action toward social change. We've been nurturing the success of our partners for more than a decade–we look forward to supporting localization efforts in your community too.
As a licensee, you are authorized to use our media, brand, and other educational resources and be part of the Beaming Bioneers Community Resilience Network that is designed as a living laboratory of communities of practice seeking to build, share and promote successful practices for community resilience. We connect and disseminate internal learning, as well as engage the national expertise, connections and resources from the larger Bioneers community of leadership and network of networks. We focus on topics including: urban restoration, bio-cultural diversity, youth leadership and more. As a Beaming Bioneers partner, your campus or community group will be recognized in our materials and outreach, as well as from the main stage at the Bioneers Conference, where you will be clearing identified as a leading group or institution in this effort.
Here's how it works…
Thousands will gather in October at the main Bioneers Conference in San Rafael, California, where they will witness a lineup of stellar presenters. As a Beaming Bioneers partner, you will receive access to these presentations as well as resources that will help you to weave the high-quality content into your own programming, leading to a relevant and engaging approach to the issues and topics dealt with at the Bioneers Conference in San Rafael.
Once you sign up, we invite and encourage you to integrate Headwaters content with your own local workshops, classes, lectures and community tours. As a licensed partner, you have the option to show the keynote presentations and other Bioneers media that is easily customized to your specific, preferred situation. As part of the Beaming Bioneers Community Resilience Network you’ll have the opportunity to network with experienced Beaming Bioneers partners sites to share best-practice information, learn and be inspired.
Almost all Beaming Bioneers partners have a sponsoring organization (local NGO, university, town/city government) that is willing to include a locally designed and produced Bioneers conference and other events as part of its yearly activities. Other partners work with a coalition of local organizations to put on the event or forge a new collaboration for this specific purpose. If you are a first-time planner, we recommend that you connect with existing institutions, groups, or networks that already have access to the resources and capacity to produce events.
