Judy Wicks is founder of Philadelphia's 26-year-old White Dog Cafe and a national leader in the local, living economies movement. She is co-founder and chair of the nationwide Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE), and founder/board member of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia. Judy has won numerous awards, including the James Beard Foundation's Humanitarian of the Year, Inc. Magazine's 25 Favorite Entrepreneurs, and the Philadelphia Sustainability Award for Lifetime Achievement.
