Please accept this reminder that we have National Bioneers Conference Scholarships and Subsidized Registrations available to those who apply by September 18th.
Due to the generous donations of our our supporters and attendees who have purchased full-price registrations, Bioneers is able to offer assistance to those who may be more financially challenged. Our network and community believes in diversity and wants to empower those who advocate for social, cultural and environmental justice. For this reason, we proudly offer BioCon Scholarships and 50% savings via Subsidized Registrations.
Bioneers does not profit from the annual the National Bioneers Conference. Each year we fight for funding to produce this original gathering of a nature-inspired whole systems platform for change. Each year we also make every effort to open our doors to those who are passionate about effecting change.
We hope our efforts will afford many like-minded folks the opportunity to join us in San Rafael, CA next month. If you are not in need of financial assistance but know of someone who may be and deserves to be at BioCon, please help us spread the word by sharing this email. We would be most grateful.
Hope to see you soon!

Bioneers Hosts Leading Voices Addressing Nature-Inspired Solutions For Social, Cultural, and Environmental Change
The National Bioneers Conference (“BioCon”), established in 1990, is the original whole-systems forum of innovation and collaboration for social, cultural and environmental justice. As the premiere network for the sustainability, environmentalism and social justice communities, BioCon speakers and presenters have included Bill McKibben, Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Ethan Nadelmann, Michael Pollan, Eve Ensler, and Paul Hawken, among many other luminaries. The annual conference also prides itself on introducing audiences to a diverse faculty of emerging civic leaders, scientists, educators and activists.
During this year’s BioCon, visionaries and change-makers will propose, debate and initiate solutions to global bio-cultural and socio-ecological issues. Keynote speakers include actor, activist and filmmaker Danny Glover who will address social justice with his talk on Reimagining Citizenship, Democracy and Nature. Whole-systems thinking continues with presentations covering Women as Democracy Builders, Recognizing the Rights of Nature, Building Community Resilience, Creating Peace Through Understanding, and more.
Now in its 24th year, BioCon offers business leaders, community leaders, civic leaders, educators, activists, and all global citizens access to inspiring keynotes, provocative panels and workshops, and networking sessions with others who are committed to progressive action in restoring people and planet.
The conference runs October 18-20, 2013 in San Rafael, CA. 1, 2, 3 or Half-day Passes available. REGISTER TO JOIN US!
