Claire Greensfelder, a lifelong peace, ecology and justice activist/journalist, former director of Greenpeace USA's Nuclear Free Future Campaign, a co-founder (with congresswoman Barbara Lee) and first executive director of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom Center for Nonviolence, Equality, Youth and Ecology in Oakland, California, became in 2006 deputy director of the International Forum on Globalization (IFG), where she focuses primarily on climate change, peak oil, global resource depletion, and indigenous peoples' rights. Claire also co-founded (with Mayumi Oda) Rainbow Serpent, the Plutonium Free future Women's Network.
