Russ Walker is the executive director of the online environmental journal Grist. His previous positions include: assistant managing editor for nation and world at washingtonpost.com, the online component of The Washington Post; online director of FreedomChannel.com, a political video website; editor of health care policy and international affairs publications at the National Journal Group; a congressional aide on Capitol Hill; and public affairs staff person for a nonprofit health care policy association.
