Mary Gomes, co-editor of the seminal eco-psychology collection, Ecopsychology: Restoring the Earth, Healing the Mind, teaches in the Psychology Department at Sonoma State University, and is co-director, with Allen Kanner, of Altars of Extinction, a project which creates memorials to species that have gone extinct at human hands.
