Matt Petersen, the president of Global Green USA, guides its new programs on water and energy, green power, climate change, nuclear weapons and helping sustainably rebuild the Gulf Coast. An advisor to the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, he also serves on: the council of Green Cross International; Discovery’s PlanetGreen Advisory Board; the Environmental Media Association Advisory Board; the Pacific Council on International Policy; and the Santa Monica Task Force on the Environment. Previously, Petersen served as executive director of Americans for a Safe Future and managed many political campaigns.
