Doug Gosling, a lifelong passionate gardener/botanist and garden manager at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (OAEC) site since 1982, is the director of the Mother Garden Biodiversity Program at OAEC and curates its extensive seed and plant collection. His special interest is seed saving and genetic preservation. Doug is also a garden photographer with works published in National Geographic, Harrowsmith and National Gardening and manages the Garden Project at Food for Thought, the Sonoma County AIDS Food Bank. Doug is also an African music fanatic and hosts "Crossing Borders," an African music show on Sonoma County Public radio.
