Atema Eclai, director of programs at the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, has worked around the world on issues of conflict resolution, negotiation, micro-credit, health, genital mutilation, and education. She has chaired sessions at the U.N. women's conferences in Nairobi and Beijing and has facilitated many other international meetings. Atema was also a chief facilitating team member for Women Waging Peace, an initiative of the Women and Public Policy Program at the Kennedy School of Government.
