Bioneers Presenter: Anne Alexander Rowley

Anne Alexander Rowley, an oceans advocate who represents the third generation of women in her family engaged in environmental philanthropy (her grandmother is still active at 103!), is a research diving instructor who's "logged as many hours underwater as most people have in front of their TVs." She is vice president of the Greenstone Fund for the Environment and chairs the Ocean Council of Oceana, the world's largest ocean protection organization, and is a recipient of the Helen Glenny Award from the Environmental Federation of California.
