Hello Bioneers!
This is Robert of Eth-Noh-Tec!  We are a kinetic storytelling theater company based in SF and NEW to Bioneers (2007 First Timers!)... now we are TOTAL converts!  We are interested in meeting other Bioneers in SF who have an interest in being on the team of educators who would like to network, support, and possibly be a part of our education based project "Green Grows the Story"  (elementary, middle, and high school). We are looking for host schools, and partnership with other orgs and activists.
First phase involves a performance of Asian mythology and folk tales that have STRONG environmental messages set to movement theater.  
Second phase involves facilitating a dialogue with the students about the themes in the stories.  The messages inspire the students to re-discover and reconnect to the Earth.  Also the stories embellish upon themes of individual AND collective action, cause and effect, and love of nature.
Third phase in the project involves classroom teacher and activists to take this enthusiasm and apply it to a Green project that is simple, easy to conduct, fun and underscores the principals of sustainability.   Project can be in the classroom, the students families at home, or in the community.
We are looking for partners to work at all levels of this project, particularly teachers and activists who have experiences working at a school.
