Ask the World: A Challenge and a Solution

Sam Gordon of NZ starts interactive film project and needs your help!!
by Liz Cunningham

At the 5th International Symposium of Digital Earth that was held in Berkeley, CA the first week of June, I had the pleasure to meet and interact briefly with a phenomenal group of New Zealanders as well as some other young people from across the country who are engaged in the movement to protect this planet and connect with people from around the world.

Sam Gordon was one young man I met, whom at Digital Earth, came up with a project to ask a question to the world, and let the world respond. About a month later, he has started this project, by introducing the project on You Tube in hopes that many people will start asking questions and more will respond with not necessarily the answers, but with ideas and solutions to support the work that young people are doing all around the world!

What can you do to get involved?

1) Watch the video below.

2) Get some friends together, get a video camera (or use the movie setting on your digital camera)

3) Use the camera, and ask a question in the form of: How can I create something better? For example: How can I get people at my school to do more volunteer work? Or How can I make my business more green?

By asking the question in that form, you are responsible...and when we resond, we can empower you with the solutions and ideas to move your work forward!

Great idea Sam! Let's get to work together!

our unifying expression is the words of mystic poet rumi " let the beauty you love , be wot u do . . . . there are a thousand ways to kneel & kiss the earth ! "
we are interested in sustainability, devotion, fine artistry & passing on wot ever we have learned to upcoming generations

quick note

Thanks for the link!

It's really easy yet very powerful - all it needs to work is for people to start doing it
:-), so spread the word and get involved.
The only question I've got is how quickly we can get this to critical mass.
