byron katieHOW CAN WE CHANGE THE WORLD? DOES “LOVING what is” mean we have to stop working for a healthy and just future? Is there a way that we can be more effective in creating that future? Many activists and change-makers find ourselves stressed, overwhelmed and feeling like we are doing battle every day. Our love for the Earth and our
desire for change often manifest in an overworked, combative nonprofit culture.

Byron Katie, founder of The Work, has one job: to teach people how to end their own suffering. When Katie appears, lives change. As she guides people through her simple yet powerful process of inquiry, called The Work, they find again and again that their stressful beliefs — about life, other people, or themselves — radically shift.

“Byron Katie's teachings and everyday life are pure wisdom. Her Work shows us the way to inner peace, and she directs us there, fearlessly, relentlessly, and with utmost generosity. I have rarely seen anyone — spiritual teachers included — embody wisdom as powerfully as Katie in her passionate embrace of each and every moment.”
