Well, it's been a long time coming. In 2000, I first heard an interview with Bioneer, Dr. John Todd and his work with living machines. I had just finished reading Daniel Quinn's Ishmael . I was finding my heart opening to 'walking away' as Mr. Quinn would describe it. Seven years and many (mis)adventures later I am preparing to enter my Junior year of college at the delicate age of 34 in pursuit of an environmental engineering degree.
I hope to have my mouth closed and my ears open for a good part of the time I am on this site. I look forward to meeting new people, learning new things and helping however I am able to WORKING on a way that this world might move better for our being on it. Be well.

Dear arborelis----- I went back to college at the delicate age of 37 and graduated at 43 as a single mom with 3 teenagers it was exciting and I almost quit so many times. I started out part time and went full time the last 2 yrs. Once I complained to a women I was working for that I would be 42 when I graduated-- she said I would be that old anyway! So what else was I doing with my time? That was a perfect thing to tell me so I just kept going. Graduated as an Urban planner with a concentration in Landscape Architecture. Have fun and you will add to the world being a better place. I have not read the book you mentioned but it is now something I will look at reading. I am reading Think and Grow Rich by Nepolean Hill. I want to put my money where my heart is and I need to know how the big guys do the money thing because I have got the possibility to make a difference.
