The destruction of old growth forests fuels global warming. These primoridal environments harbor life for thousands of species, and produce huge amounts of the world's oxygen. In the last few hundred years we've created an unprecedented deforestation of the planet--disrupting a primary relationship we have with land and forest allies. How do we respond with open hearts, focusing on greatest good for all, rather than with fear or a return of violent energy? How can we create new visions of the future?

During this evening we will watch a DVD of Tzeporah Berman of Forest Ethics (from Bioneers 2006) discussing their campaign to protect the Boreal Forest that spans from Alaska to the Atlantic coast of Canada. Learn how old growth forests are being cut to make paper for the US catalog industry. We will use dyad processes and Clarity Breathwork to move energy and emotions that arise from meeting this information. We'll end the evening with information about what you can do to help.
