Youth Scholarship Information
Scholarships are offered to bring a diverse youth contingent to the Bioneers Conference who would otherwise not be able to attend. We've compiled specific details here:

*Regular 3-day registration ranges from $410-$465. Through grants, donations and its own unrestricted support, Bioneers is pleased to provide significant financial support for a large number of youth.
**All scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?

We ask that you fundraise to cover other conference expenses like meals and lodging.
Who Can Apply?
Scholarships are available on a first-come first-served basis. See eligibility rules above for specific scholarships. Scholarships are allotted based on need. Youth from under-served communities will be given priority.
Hints, Rules, & Regulations
Registration
The scholarship application is not a registration form for the Bioneers Conference. Upon being confirmed as a scholarship recipient, registration will be completed online with all necessary payments.
Notification
Applicants will be notified no later than September 14th, 2009 if they have received a scholarship. If successful, they will receive a confirmation package by email that includes additional information and registration materials.
How to Fundraise
There are a lot of ways to fundraise to cover your expenses for the Bioneers Conference. Consider asking for support from individual donors in your community or hosting an event to raise money. Be creative. Also, stay tuned for ideas up on our website and Facebook group.
Post-Conference Evaluation
If you receive a scholarship, we ask that you complete an evaluation form. The evaluation is an opportunity for us to make the program even better.

BLOG! We will have live blogging at the Conference so you can capture your experience in your own words!

Take Photos and upload them to the Bioneers Flickr site and Facebook Group

Video record: Document real experiences from other youth using Bioneers’ Flip Cameras or your own Video camera.

Participate in the Youth Open Mic.

Mentor a younger attendee.

If you are a part of a group, you can host a lunch meet-and-greet activity.

Run a team-building activity at the Youth Summit.
