Satellite Conferences

What is Beaming Bioneers?

Beaming Bioneers is our Satellite Conference Program, which was launched with five host sites in 2002. This year, there will be twenty sites across North America hosting regional Bioneers Conferences. Bioneers provides the plenaries live, via satellite, while host partners produce local events tailored to each bioregion.

How do I get involved with a Beaming Bioneers conference near me?

Each Satellite partner has a local contact. Please visit our Beaming Bioneers site for contact information for each site.

Can I make a presentation at a Beaming Bioneers Satellite Conference?

Each satellite site is locally organized and has their own policies regarding submissions for presenters and workshops. They generally welcome ideas for workshops! We encourage you to contact the location you are interested in directly.

Can I host a Beaming Bioneers Satellite conference in my community or at my local University?

The program is full for 2007. We will accept proposals for new satellite partners through January 2008. Please visit http://beaming.bioneers.org/apply for more detailed information about the process. If you’d like to apply for 2008, please contact Teo Grossman at beaming(at)bioneers.org, or call 949.723.0887.
