Monthly Donations

Support the sustainability of Bioneers - become a monthly donor and provide Bioneers with a steady income stream, freeing us up from intensive fundraising and allowing us to focus on our innovative programs, materials and media that are dramatically leveraging the pressure for environmental and social change.

Gifts in Honor of a Loved One

Tribute Gift - Give the gift of a Revolution from the Heart of Nature in tribute to friends and family. We will honor your gift of tribute by sending a hand-written card to your loved one or loved ones, with a personalized message from you.

Memorial Gift - Make a gift in memory of a loved one who honored the Earth in life, to extend that person's positive impact for future generations. We will send a hand-written card, with a personalized message from you, to the family of the person memorialized.

Workplace Giving

Double, or even triple, the impact of your gift! Increasingly, companies are supporting employee philanthropy by offering payroll deductions for donations or Matching Gifts programs. Ask your HR department if they match charitable donations made by employees, fill out their Matching Gift form and mail it with your donation to Collective Heritage Institute/Bioneers, 1607 Paseo de Peralta Suite 3, Santa Fe, NM 87501.

Automatic Bill Pay or Wire Transfers

Support Bioneers and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time! You can set up a single or recurring payment via your bank's automated bill pay feature (ACH) to send your donation directly to Bioneers. Gifts of Stock

Another very helpful way to give a gift to Bioneers is by donating appreciated stock, bonds or mutual funds. If you own securities that have increased in value since they were purchased (at least 12 months ago), you may be able to completely avoid capital gains tax this year by contributing the securities instead of cash. You'll receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full market value of the asset, and you'll avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the securities.

Planned Giving

Leave a legacy of supporting innovative voices urging the world to protect people and the planet, for our own health and safety and that of future generations, by naming Bioneers in your will or living trust. You can also name Bioneers as the beneficiary of a charitable trust or as a beneficiary of your retirement account once you no longer need it (including IRAs, 401(k) plans or 403(b) plans).

Scholarship Fund

THE JOHN MOHAWK BIONEERS CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
While the Bioneers is comparably one of the most affordable of its kind, there are many people who cannot afford to attend. But the Bioneers community cannot afford not to have their voices and presence at our annual gathering. 

Scholarships ensure the participation of key youth leaders, students, educators, Indigenous leaders, emerging and established women leaders, and important elders of our communities. Scholarship recipients are from diverse, low-income and underserved communities and their participation in the conference is critical to ensuring that our movement for social and environmental change is representative of all members of the Bioneers community.

Every year, providing scholarships costs Bioneers over $200,000 - some of which is covered by charitable donations, but most of which is subsidized by Bioneers. Despite the high cost to the organization to provide nearly 700 scholarships, Bioneers commits to this major cost every year to ensure that we contribute meaningfully to the diversity of the larger movement for social and environmental justice.

But we need your help, you partnership. We need your investment in the diversity, health and vitality of the Bioneers community. Help us ensure that all our allies' and partners' voices are amplified and shared with the world. Gifts of any amount help, and we suggest a range from $25 to $2,500 or more. Bioneers welcomes in-kind gifts (non-cash gifts, usually of goods or services). Suggested in-kind gifts to Bioneers - those that would be most supportive of our work - include donated frequent flyer miles, computer software, as well as items to include in our Bioneers Conference Silent Auction (art, jewelry, green goods and services).
